Very Rare Silver Tip Loose Leaf White Tea
The most prized of all white loose leaf teas, these are the most perfect pick of the silver tip harvest.
Crafted entirely from the first tender spring buds, high in the remote mountains of Fujian and carefully sorted. These rarest tips are carefully selected only from the first day of the incredibly short harvest of around 5 days, just as the leaf buds reach maturity but before they unfurl to the first new leaves.
Also known as White Silver Needle and Baihao Yinzhen.

Very rare silver tip
It was (is) very good indeed. White gold in color and subtle fragrances when directly poured in the cup(well, I actually use a glass for this tea). You can list a number of references (jasmine, almonds, soft grass among a multitude of others come to mind) but in reality it is a very complex, yet very smooth and accessible, whole that is difficult to dissect in different distinct parts. For me it is a tea of relaxation, contemplation and generally trying to unwind from a difficult day or week. I often have a hard time choosing between this and my favorite Glenlivet and believe me it really is a toss up. I absolutely love this.
Various Rare Teas
I always loved loose tea and have a collection of good teas from China. Lately, I read an inspiring book “Infused” by Henrietta Lovell. My adventure in Rare Tea has begun. So far I have tried Very Rare White Silver Tip, Silver Tip Jasmine White Tea, Rare Earl Grey, Malawi Antlers White Tea, Lost Malawi English Breakfast, Tie Guan Yin Oolong, Rare Spanish Almond Blossom. Each tea comes with expert brewing instructions and helpful tasting notes. The quality sings out clearly. Each tea has a distinctive flavour, clean cut taste, smooth, elegant and fragrant, just simple pleasure. Make time to have Rare Tea moments. I have shared Rare Teas with friends. Experimented with cold infusion and tea pairing. You don’t need to be a connoisseur to enjoy good loose tea. Rare Tea will be sure to make you a connoisseur.
